About Berkeley Community Reformed Church

Berkeley Community Reformed Church is an outreach Christian ministry of the Koshin Presbyterian Church, a Korean Christian denomination with a global network.

As such, Berkeley Community Reformed Church seeks, first and foremost, to minister to Korean Americans at the University of California at Berkeley.  The ministry started out of a need in the Korean American community to address issues of Korean American identity, intercultural experiences, hurts arising from growing anti-Asian sentiment, internal cultural tensions, and concern for the future of the Korean American community.  As a Christian ministry, Berkeley Community Reformed Church seeks answers through the use of the Christian Bible.

As there is a shared experience among different Asian groups, we at Berkeley Community Reformed Church believe that we can directly meet the needs of all Asian Americans at UC Berkeley from the Christian perspective.

Furthermore, as all ministry is conducted in English, non-Asians are welcome and can expect to be blessed in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
